CF Electrical prepared the Electrical Planning Report (EPR) for our Strata (8 Units). It turns out there are two types of EPR's. The regular one most have heard about, and the short form version. The latter is a lot less expensive than the former. CF Electrical brought this to my attention, then investigated to see if our Strata qualified for the less expensive Short Form EPR - all before we had to commit to anything. Other firms I contacted didn't mention the Short From version, and likely would of over charged us for something we didn't need. After CF Electrical reviewed our Strata's electrical set up, they advised we qualified for the Short Form EPR. We gave them the go ahead to proceed. Just a few days later, we had a completed Electrical Planning Report (Short Form) in our possession , and the Statutory requirement had been met. The whole thing could not of been easier, faster, or more forthright. If you are a small strata like us (8 Townhouses), I strongly recommend CF Electrical to complete the recently introduced mandatory Electrical Planning Report.

Nothing to note. The report was completed on the date it was expected and sent to the strata email within a couple days. No complaints or issues with CF Electrical. We got a discount off the regular price which helped our Bare Land Strata immensely as we are a small complex with minimal funds.

We selected CF Electrical from three providers due to their excellent communication. They answered (and anticipated) all our questions before we'd even heard back with a quote from the third potential provider. They completed an EPR quickly and comprehensively, at a fair price. Our strata is relatively new and lacked a full set of construction planning documents. CF Electrical helped us by filling in the gaps of our knowledge. The cost quoted came in the middle of the three but the professionalism and responsiveness of CF Electrical won us over. Our strata employed CF Electrical recently to prepare an Electrical Planning Report to meet the mandated requirement to assess the ability of our electrical service to supply various expected electrification loads in the near term future that will add to the electrical load of units in our strata. We also employed them to provide an EV Ready Plan which recommends a specific practical approach to adding level 2 EV chargers to each unit in our strata. They gave us a competitive price and produced draft reports in a timely way which we reviewed and clarified with a dialogue to simplify technical jargon. They listened well and resolved our need to better understand this somewhat technical material and the interplay of various Electrical Code and TSBC rules that must be respected in any installation of large new loads by a unit owner's electrician. Their patience and willingness to work with us to edit technical text for digestion by non technical people was greatly appreciated. I would highly recommend this firm based on our experience with them as a service provider. They put in a lot of extra effort to help us understand the issues better.
