An EV Ready Plan is the route to BC Hydro's EV charging rebates — and from July 15, 2026 an EV Ready Plan or an Electrical Planning Report becomes mandatory to access them. Not all proposals cover the same scope. Use this 12-item checklist to compare what's actually included.

An EV Ready Plan maps a path to 100% EV-ready parking for your strata: an EVEMS evaluation, phased cost estimates, and the BC Hydro rebate application itself — up to $3,000, prepared and submitted on your behalf. From July 15, 2026 a plan becomes the route to those rebates. The checklist above shows whether a proposal actually carries the application through, or stops short of it.
